In 2022, we had the privilege of transforming a charming property with immense potential on Welsford Road through extensive extension and renovation works.

When we first assessed the property, it was structurally sound but dated. The client envisioned creating a spacious, modern forever family home. To bring this vision to life, we nearly doubled the property’s size by adding a two-story side extension. This addition included a master bedroom with an en-suite and walk-in wardrobe upstairs, as well as a utility room and home office on the ground floor.

A standout feature of the project was the removal of the entire rear wall of the house, allowing us to construct a stunning 14-meter-long flat roof kitchen, lounge, and dining area extension. We further enhanced the property with the addition of a new front porch.

The full house renovation included the removal of chimney breasts and internal walls to create additional rooms and en-suites. The property also underwent a complete electrical rewire and the installation of an energy-efficient underfloor heating system powered by an air-source heat pump.

One of the unique highlights of the project was a custom-designed “speakeasy” hideaway bar, expertly integrated into the kitchen for a bespoke touch.

Externally, we carried out a comprehensive landscaping overhaul. This included over 100m² of porcelain patio, a cobbled planting area, re-leveling the entire garden, and constructing a new garden wall. The transformation was completed with a 10mm golden stone driveway, adding the perfect finishing touch to this exceptional family home.
