Cringleford - Norwich
Having successfully completed a recent extension project for a close family member, we had already established a strong foundation of trust with the client. This gave us the privilege of transforming a rundown 1920s property into a bright, seamless, contemporary family home.
Given the condition of the original structure, the project required a complete gutting and rebuild. This included removing walls to create new spaces, enlarging rooms, and undertaking a full electrical rewire, installation of a modern heating system, and fitting new bathrooms and a kitchen. A unique feature of this project was the addition of a hidden utility room, cleverly accessed through custom-designed larder cupboards in the kitchen.
The client also requested that we incorporate cultural artifacts significant to her heritage. These were thoughtfully integrated into the interior design, blending tradition with modern aesthetics to create a home that felt personal and meaningful.
To enhance the property’s exterior, we re-rendered the façade, constructed a new garden wall, laid 80m² of porcelain patio, and completed the transformation with a stunning 10mm golden stone driveway.
